The farewell season of Power will be kicking off in a major way. Before the premiere on STARZ in August, fans will be able to see season six days early at the world’s largest arena. Madison Square Garden will host a special premiere on August 20th, Deadline reports.
Besides being able to get an early showing of the one of the most anticipated dramas on TV, Power‘s executive producer 50 Cent will also be performing and will be bringing along surprise guests to hit the stage as well. The show’s cast will also be in attendance, including Omari Hardwick, Naturi Naughton, Joseph Sikora, Lela Loren, Larenz Tate, Rotimi, Michael Rainey, Jr. and LaLa Anthony.
The last season, deemed “The Final Betrayal,” will be jam-packed with 15 episodes, more than any other season. Even though we have to say goodbye to STARZ’s most-watched series, word on the street is that 50 Cent is working on spin-offs. During a visit to Power 105.1’s The Breakfast Club, Sikora and Naughton said nothing has been solidified yet but it will influenced by whoever lives through this last season.
“I think that they are going to be solidified probably later on,” Sikora said about the spin-offs. “You’re going to have to see those of us who survive the season.”
“Yeah, because everybody is not gonna live, “Naughton added.
Season six will premiere on STARZ on August 25th, but if you want to see the early premiere at MSG on August 20th, RSVPs will be available July 9th here.
